At Grace Presbyterian Church, we base our teachings on God’s Word, the Bible. The centerpiece of the Bible is the gospel, which is the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches that all of us have sinned against God and are subject to his judgment. Yet God, in his mercy, has sent his Son Jesus Christ to take human nature and stand in our place, dying on the cross for our sins and rising again so we can enjoy new life in him. We proclaim the message that all who trust in Christ will be forgiven, reconciled to God, delivered from judgment, and given eternal life. Christ gathers his people into local churches (such as Grace Presbyterian) where they can be built up through worship, fellowship, and service. Find out more about the gospel message by reading the article “What Are People For?“.
We identify ourselves as “Reformed,” which means that we embrace the teachings of the Bible as affirmed by the Protestant reformers along with faithful Christians throughout history. You can read a full statement of our doctrinal commitments in the Westminster Confession of Faith, the Larger Catechism, and the Shorter Catechism.
