Saturday, January 10th will kick-off our Men’s Breakfast and Discussions, 0730-0900. We will gather in the Grace Fellowship Hall to enjoy breakfast, fellowship and discussion. We plan to meet the second Saturday of each month from January through May, for a total of five gatherings.
We will be using the book “The Clay Pot Conspiracy: God’s Plan to Use Weakness in Leaders”, by Dave Harvey. The book is full of insights about serving and leading, and will give us much to unpack and think about as men. The book helpfully relates to and builds on some of Pastor Dan Clifford’s reflections from the men’s retreat last fall.
Watch the announcements each month to see which chapters of the book we will cover. While we encourage you to get the book and to read the chapters in advance so you can gain maximum benefit from our time together, you do not need to have done the readings in order to come and participate. We will work to make the discussion such that all can participate and benefit, whether or not someone has done the reading. Copies of the book are available for purchase on the Grace Church Bookshelf.
Please use the link provided each month to sign up for breakfast items to bring. Early sign ups are encouraged. The spiritual food will be provided, but we want to make sure you leave with full stomachs as well. If you sign up to help with set up, please plan to arrive no later than 0730.
